"Mayday originated with the execution in 1887 of four Chicago anarchists. A fifth cheated the hangman by killing himself in prison. Three more were to spend 6 years in prison until pardoned by Governor Altgeld who said the trial that convicted them was characterised by "hysteria, packed juries and a biased judge". The state had, in the words of the prosecution put "Anarchy is on trial" and hoped their deaths would also be the death of the anarchist idea."

eles bem tentam destruir-nos, tanto ontem como hoje, mas não conseguem. veja-se na italia...
nos eua o movimento anarquista está de boa saude, são poucos é verdade, mas aí estão eles.
por outro lado, aqui em portugal já veio no jornal uma noticia a tranquilizar, pois os movimentos de esquerda libertaria não representam perigo, ao contrario da extrema direita.
até nisto se vê como este pais é atrasado, os movimentos de extrema direita são maiores do que os de esquerda libertaria.
já agora partilho aqui um livro (está em inglês), que fala sobre o 25 de abril e movimentos não partidarios de cidadãos, que infelizmente murcharam devido à infiltração e tentativa de partidarização dos movimentos.
é uma das facetas desconhecidas de maioria das pessoas. afinal é possivel criar algo, o problema são os oportunistas burocratas.

Estou sempre a fazer comentários em posts antigos, mas cá vai: esse livro está editado em Portugal. Deve encontrar-se em bibliotecas e alfarrabistas. Eu tenho um exemplar. Se não me engano o autor colaborou com o jornal Combate que foi scanneado e encontra-se na marxists.org.
